Abbey Casey, What is your role at SBC?
I serve as the SBC Kids and Nursery Director where I come alongside an amazing team to care for children and teach the word of God.

Describe your job in five words:
Lead with truth and love.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a nurse.

Go-to worship song:

Who has had the most influence on your spiritual life?
My family has had a tremendous influence on my spiritual life.

Food you can't live without:
French toast

Which Bible character would you most likely be best friends with?
Esther, because of her great courage in doing what was right in the midst of adversity.

What is your hope for Sierra Bible Church for this year?
I pray that our church family grows deeper in our knowledge and love of Christ through relationship with Him and study of the Bible. With understanding more of who Jesus is, may we serve and love Him with humility.

Ladies! Join us on Monday, April 3rd 6-8pm! Introducing SBC’s Ladies Night, an evening set aside for the women of Sierra Bible Church to enjoy friendship, laughter and receive a good dose of biblical encouragement.

The first Monday of each month has been designated for events that bless and encourage women. Please mark your calendar with the following dates so you don’t miss a single one. Currently, all dates are planned as Ladies Nights with food, activities and devotions. Register on the app and we will see you in two weeks!

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to race horses

Right now, it’s “Honey in the Rock,” but the constant fall-back is “In Christ Alone"

Who has had the most influence on your spiritual life?
I stand on the shoulders of many giants, but my Father is probably my greatest influence

Food you can't live without:
I REALLY like fried eggs and bacon

Which Bible character would you most likely be best friends with?
The songs written by the Sons of Korah make me think I’d fit in well with them

Favorite quote of all time:

What is your hope for Sierra Bible Church for this year?
I have too many pick one, but I know Jesus is our only hope, and I hope he uses our church to further His Kingdom

Partnering with @sowministries this Sunday we will

Partnering with @sowministries this Sunday we will have a beef burrito feed to help raise funds in stocking their food pantries and construction material as they continue to build the baby house! Burritos will be available after both first and second service. Bring your appetite, heart to worship, and hunger for the word! We will see you this Sunday, 8:30 & 10:30am!

At all our gatherings, we provide quality, safe nursery care for children under three
Experienced and vetted adults look after your youngest ones to that you can focus on the services and connect with others with peace of mind.

SBC KIDS:

Every Sunday, we have Children's Church at both services, specially created for children from
preschool through 6th grade. They have their own time for learning, singing, and connecting, led by our excellent team of dedicated teachers.

CONNECT HERE:

In homes, coffee shops, and other meeting places throughout our community, various groups
meet during the week to explore the Bible and discuss relevant issues in our life of faith. Call our office, and we can guide you to find the most appropriate group. We invite you to connect with us throughout this year at various family events & activities for your children.
