What do you do when you’re treated unfairly? In Matthew 26:57–68, Jesus stands before the religious leaders, facing false accusations, mockery, and humiliation despite being completely innocent. Yet even in the middle of this injustice, Jesus remains faithful and reveals His identity as the true King and coming Judge. This passage reminds us that Jesus understands our pain and shame, that we can trust God when life feels unfair, and that we don’t have to fight for the last word or seek revenge. Because of what Jesus has done for us, we can respond to injustice with truth, humility, and faithfulness, trusting Him to defend us and make all things right.

When you’re treated unfairly or misunderstood, is your first instinct to defend yourself, get even, or trust God? What would it look like this week to respond like Jesus and surrender that situation to Him?
