In Matthew 26, Jesus begins the final journey toward the cross. He knows exactly what is coming, and He willingly lays down His life as the true Passover Lamb—the Savior who came to free us from sin, guilt, and condemnation.
This passage gives us two very different responses to Jesus. Mary pours out something incredibly valuable because she sees Jesus as worth everything, while Judas is willing to put a price on Him. Their stories invite us to ask what we treasure most and whether anything has quietly taken the place that belongs to Jesus.
