How much evidence do we really need before we’re willing to trust God?

In this week’s teaching, we explore Jesus’ warning in Matthew 16 and His reference to the “sign of Jonah.” Through the stories of Jonah, the Pharisees, and the disciples, we’re reminded that spiritual blindness isn’t usually a lack of information—it’s often a matter of the heart. Jesus challenges us to examine where pride, bitterness, fear, or false beliefs may be shaping us more than God’s truth.

The good news is that God is patient and persistent. Just as He pursued Jonah and continued to teach His disciples, He faithfully exposes our blind spots and invites us into deeper repentance, mercy, and trust.

Where might God be inviting you to see something differently right now—a blind spot, a resentment, or an area where you’ve been resisting His grace?
