This week, we’re continuing in Matthew 10 as Jesus prepares His disciples for the reality of being sent into the world with the gospel. He tells them they will be called to live with a unique balance of wisdom and innocence while expecting that their message won’t always be welcomed.
Jesus also reminds His followers not to panic when opposition comes. Instead, they can trust that the Holy Spirit will give them the right words at the right time. Even when the gospel brings tension or rejection, believers are called to endure, remain faithful to Christ, and continue the mission with courage and dependence on God.
Where in your life might God be calling you to live more boldly for Jesus—trusting the Spirit to guide your words and actions even when it feels uncomfortable?
