Who We Are

The women’s ministry at SBC consists of women who desire to know Jesus deeply and help others do the same. Through hospitality and evangelism, our heart is to see guests become family—sisters in Christ who welcome others with the love of Jesus and the hope of the gospel.

Our ministry is centered on bringing women to Jesus and helping them grow as they learn to observe and obey God’s Word. We are passionate about creating opportunities for women to learn how to read, study, and apply the Scriptures with confidence, knowing that God speaks through His Word and transforms our lives through it.

We also believe that spiritual growth happens in community. Through Bible studies, gatherings, and shared life together, we seek to cultivate meaningful fellowship where women can find encouragement, accountability, and discipleship. Our desire is that every woman who walks through our doors would know she is welcomed, loved, and invited into a growing family of faith.

Purpose

The Women’s Ministry at SBC exists to create a welcoming place where women can gather, build authentic relationships, and walk through life together as sisters in Christ. We desire to be a community where women of all ages and seasons of life are known, encouraged, and connected across generations. Whether you are new to SBC or have called this church home for years, there is a place for you. We invite you to join us for a Bible study, a seasonal event, or a fellowship gathering as we grow together in faith and friendship.

As a ministry, our desire is to:

• Encourage women to discover and use their unique gifts to serve the church, love their community, and share the hope of Christ with others.
• Equip women to know God’s Word, grow in their faith, and walk confidently in their identity as beloved daughters of God.
• Cultivate spiritual maturity through prayer, the faithful study of Scripture, and intentional discipleship and mentorship, helping women grow into lifelong followers of Jesus.

Above all, we hope every woman who comes through our doors experiences the love of Christ, finds meaningful community, and is encouraged to take her next step in following Him.

Fellowship Nights

We are shifting from Monday night gatherings to exciting Friday outings! Use the signup link on the left to facilitate and plan a community event, movie night, or craft session. Just choose your preferred Friday and provide a short description of the activity. Our hope is to have one outing per month.
